Punt de Referència was a pioneer 23 years ago, offering accompaniment through mentoring, to recently emancipated young people. This long experience has allowed our model to be proven successful and has encouraged us to share our knowledge. Therefore, in 2012, we promoted the Social Mentoring Coordinator, the organization that works online with other entities to improve the quality of mentoring in providing accompaniment to vulnerable groups. In this way we support the implementation of new projects.
Punt de Referència also forms part of the European Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring (ECEB) since its founding in 2016, as well as the European Learning Network of Mentoring Programs for Migrants, promoted by the ECEB.
OUR MENTORING PROJECTS
TRAINING AND CONSULTING IN MENTORING
Every day there are more organizations that recognise the potential of social mentoring and have relied on the expertise of Punt de Referència as a reference in the use of this methodology. Would you like to receive training in this area? Are you interested in having us supervise your project? Do not hesitate to contact us and we will inform you of the type of accompaniment that best suits your needs.
WE HAVE DESIGNED MENTORING PROJECTS AND ACCOMPANIED THEIR IMPLEMENTATION FOR
Youth Incorporation Program
A pilot program that seeks to guarantee the inclusion into social and work settings of recently emancipated youth. Punt de Referència has been commissioned to assist in the design and rollout of mentoring activities in different parts of the country: Andalusia (September 2018), Catalonia and Madrid (September 2019).
REPLICAS AT THE LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL
Mentoring also extends throughout the country through replicas of Punt de Referència’s projects. The map shows where replicas and mentoring projects inspired by those of Punt de Referència have been set up:
TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONALS IN EMOTIONAL ACCOMPANYING
Another model of intervention in which we serve as a reference is that of emotional support from a socio-educational perspective: How to be at the side of vulnerable people and offer them the emotional support they need? This training helps to address one of the challenges faced by professionals from the world of social work. At the same time it is one of the shortcomings that the emancipated youth have frequently found in the educators accompanying them.
